Team Leader

Guide staff at Summit are the backbone of our community. Team Leaders at Summit are a highly experienced group of senior guide staff. They have significant tenure at Summit and/or other relevant experience in mental or behavioral healthcare, which allows for them to be natural and confident leaders for both our staff and our students. It is the responsibility of a Team Leader to know the nuances of our program implicitly in order to guide both student and staff expectations.

One Team Leader per week is assigned to each of our teams throughout the continuum of care. This person is not only responsible for planning that team’s itinerary for the week, but they are also an important part of the treatment team for the individual students on that team. Along with their fellow guides, the Team Leader will facilitate process groups, and help to guide students through their clinical assignments.

Our Team Leaders are critical to curating our program’s culture, upholding safety standards, and maintaining consistency and continuity in the care that we provide from week to week.
