Covid-19 Precautions & Protocals
Here is a resource outlining how we are handling program operations during the COVID-19 pandemic and the ever-evolving situation here at Summit Achievement.
While our campus is quite isolated up here in Maine, we are very aware of the risk of COVID-19 finding its way onto our campus. While we cannot eliminate all risks of this possibility, we are doing all that we can to minimize exposure. At this time there are no current or presumptive cases of COVID-19 at Summit Achievement. The majority of our staff are fully vaccinated and many of our students are vaccinated.
In a time of uncertainty, we feel that our services are crucial to continue to provide to our clients. However, we want to make sure we are taking appropriate steps to protect our campus and community.
HERE ARE SOME OF WHAT WE HAVE PUT INTO PLACE TO DEAL WITH COVID-19:
Current Operations
- We are testing our staff weekly for COVID-19. Any new student enrolling into the Summit Achievement or Traverse will have to have a COVID-19 test with negative results within 72 hours of enrollment in the program.
- We continue to follow the recommendations from the National and Maine Center for Disease Control on ways to mitigate transmission.
- We hope that these steps can help mitigate risk for our campus community. Unfortunately, like in all we do, it is impossible to eliminate all risks, yet it is our hope that these steps can help mitigate risk for our campus and community.
FOR ENROLLING NEW CLIENTS & FAMILIES
Summit Achievement and Traverse admitting students will have to have a COVID-19 test with negative results within 72 hours of enrollment in the program. During the admissions process, we will update you on the procedures.
