A Culture of Collaboration
Inclusivity. Respect. Ownership.
At Summit Achievement, healing is built on a shared commitment. Students arrive aware of the work ahead and supported by a team ready to match their effort every step of the way. As an independently owned program, we have the flexibility to put people first, walking alongside students and families from day one.
Your Student’s Journey
Venture | Entry Program
Venture is where students gain footing, build foundational skills, and develop the confidence to continue their journey. Through a structured introduction to the Summit Model, students begin to understand their patterns, practice new coping strategies, and find meaning through individual and family therapy, in the classroom, and in the outdoors.
In Venture, students work closely with their master’s-level therapist, engage in small-group academics, and participate in weekly expeditions that challenge them to apply what they’re learning in real time. Trust is built, self-awareness grows, and the path forward begins to take shape.
Traverse | Transitional Program
Traverse is where students navigate new terrain, apply their learning in increasingly complex contexts, and prepare for life beyond Summit. Building on the foundation established in Venture, students in Traverse take on greater responsibility, deepen their therapeutic work, and practice the skills they’ll need to thrive at home and in their communities.
The rhythm of personalized clinical support, accredited academics, and adventure therapy continues, but with added complexity and autonomy. Students lead more of their own growth, engage in advanced academic coursework, and prepare — alongside their families — for a successful transition home.
Proven Results That Last
Summit Achievement’s outcomes are measured using the Youth Outcome Questionnaire (Y-OQ), with data collected over ten years from students and families at intake, discharge, and six months and one year post-treatment.
- 58-64 Point Average Improvement
Students show dramatic decreases in mental health symptoms during treatment — far exceeding the 13-point threshold for clinically significant change — and maintain that improvement long after leaving Summit. - Sustained Reduction in Depression and Anxiety
Mental Health Distress scores drop from 35 at intake to 13 at discharge, and remain at healthy levels (12-13) one year later. The clinical threshold is 17. - The Summit Model Advantage
Students who complete both Venture and Traverse show better outcomes at discharge and maintain stronger progress at six months and one year post-treatment.
What Sets Summit Apart
At Summit Achievement, the benefits extend beyond treatment. Students and families gain tools, insights, and connections that create lasting transformation.
Therapeutic Momentum That Translates
Whole-Family Healing
Academic Continuity Without Compromise
Students stay on track with a fully accredited academic program. They earn credits, rediscover motivation, and rebuild confidence in a supportive classroom environment that meets them where they are.
Real, Lasting Change
A Safe Place to Build Understanding
Students are welcomed as they are and supported as they grow. Summit creates a structured, inclusive environment where every identity is honored and emotional safety is prioritized, helping students and families deepen their understanding of themselves and one another.
Support at the Right Time
When outpatient care isn’t enough but long-term placement feels too far, Summit offers the right level of support at the right moment. It’s a short-term, high-impact program designed to fit within a family’s long-term path forward.
