Teacher

Tim grew up in North Conway, New Hampshire, and is the oldest of two siblings. Tim grew up ski racing and playing soccer in the Mt. Washington Valley. After high school, Tim attended White Mountain Community College for two years, where he learned about adventure therapy in a psychology class and immediately knew he wanted to pursue that career path. Tim then transferred to Northern Vermont University for two more years, majoring in Adventure Leadership.

After college, Tim spent two years in the AmeriCorps. Program with the Epilepsy Foundation New England, working with Adaptive Sports to provide summer camp and winter sports programming opportunities for kids and young adults affected by epilepsy, as well as conducting outreach and collaborating with Doctors in New Hampshire to provide social services to this population affected by the brain disorder.

Following Tim’s term of service with Americorps, Tim continued to serve the underserved population in New Hampshire, working at a behavioral treatment program for high school students, teaching their outdoor education experiential class. Here, Tim taught kids to fish, hike, ski, camp, play paintball, and engage in other outdoor activities. He developed a passion for teaching and working with youth facing significant educational challenges. Tim joined Summit Achievement in the summer of 2025, where he continues to support students in the classroom, teaching social studies.

In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his close-knit family. Tim coaches ski racing and soccer, and occasionally still participates in soccer tournaments and ski races when he gets the chance.
